Vernadero Statement on COVID-19 Preparedness and Ongoing Operations

Vernadero shares the concern over the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation and we are prepared to do our part to combat the spread of the virus while still providing essential services to our clients.

Much of the work that we do is classified by the Federal Government as essential to the continuity of its operations. We do not take this responsibility lightly and will do everything we can to continue providing excellent service and support across all areas of ongoing program or project execution. However, we are taking special precautions to protect the health and safety of both our employees and our clients.

Our offices remain open but are following CDC and OSHA guidelines to ensure that we are making consistent, fact-based decisions about our activities and our operations. Within the comfort zone of our employees, independent contractors, and subcontractors, we will continue to perform field work and on-site staffing support within the restrictions placed on us by the host installation.

Communication is critically important now. We are encouraging our staff to enhance their outreach to clients and partners so we are aware of changing conditions, and frankly, so we can share advice on working through these times.

Several years ago, Vernadero started investing a considerable amount of resources on teleworking and networked or remote project execution, with a goal of maximizing efficiency and flexibility for our workforce. Because of this continued investment in our information technology infrastructure, we are better prepared for this moment than most. We remain fully capable to continue performing as we did prior to the limitations brought on by COVID-19. We are uniquely prepared and organized to excel at this very moment under these very difficult conditions.

Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to provide a safe experience for our clients and host installations and a healthy environment for our employees and communities. We are continually monitoring changes in government restrictions and evaluating how they will affect work. We will keep you updated as the situation evolves. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Vernadero project manager you are working with, or feel free to contact me directly.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
