Vernadero wishes to congratulate Vanessa Francis, one of our master planners at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, on her recent induction into the prestigious Lambda Alpha International (LAI), an honor society for the study and advancement of land economics.
LAI is an invitation-only professional society with 26 chapters worldwide and around 2,000 members. Vanessa was one of 22 people inducted into the George Washington chapter at the Army and Navy Club in Washington, DC, on 17 October 2019.
Joining LAI has many benefits, according to Vanessa, such as informing "the professional community you are committed to the progression of the field of land economics and related professions." She is especially eager to contribute to LAI's research initiatives.
Vanessa has 12 years of experience in master planning and urban planning and has worked with Vernadero at Fort Belvoir for nearly 4 years.
